Supplier Spotlight: MSC Cruises’ Plans for 2024 and Beyond

With a fleet of 22 modern and elegant ships sailing to more than 240 different destinations around the world, MSC Cruises remains a firm favourite with Irish guests who are looking to visit wonderful destinations and have amazing experiences that they will remember forever. In this article, we share MSC Cruises’ recent activity and plans for 2024 and beyond.

At the start of the year, MSC Cruises launched its new brand campaign which highlights the diverse experiences available on its ships, urging customers to explore the beauty of cruising in a more conscious way. It captured the essence of a holiday with MSC Cruises, celebrating human connection, unforgettable experiences and outstanding destinations. The campaign made waves across TV, radio, online and social media throughout Ireland and more than 30 other countries.

Sustainability remains at the forefront of MSC Cruises’ priorities. MSC World Europa, its groundbreaking ship, set a new standard with a futuristic cruise experience powered by liquefied natural gas. MSC World Europa has been a huge hit with Irish guests looking to experience a world-class, more sustainable holiday option at value-led prices.

MSC Cruises dedication to eco-friendly practices continued with the introduction of MSC Euribia, its remarkable second LNG-powered ship. MSC Euribia is named after the ancient goddess Eurybia who harnessed the winds, weather and constellations to master the seas. The ship deploys state-of-the-art sustainable technologies to protect and preserve the precious marine ecosystem.

MSC Cruises will continue its dedication to sustainability as it looks to the future with the launch of MSC World America in 2025. The cruise line is excited to share more information with guests and trade partners about its newest ship during 2024.

In the heart of Wave season, MSC Cruises offers enticing all-inclusive offers. It’s therefore no surprise that Irish customers have continued to choose MSC Cruises over other cruise lines as they look to book wonderful holidays at value-led prices. Irish guests have enjoyed the convenience of cruising from Southampton as well as taking advantage of fly & cruise offers to the beautiful Mediterranean. MSC Cruises has seen a remarkable 20% year-on-year sales increase in Ireland and thanks its Irish trade partners who are vital to this success.

To further highlight its success in Ireland, MSC Cruises won two awards at the Irish Travel Industry Awards 2024; Best Main Stream Cruise Line of the Year 2024 and Best Cruise Trade Team. MSC Cruises sees it popularity in Ireland continuing to grow as more and more customers choose to holiday with the cruise line.

MSC Cruises entry into luxury travel with Explora Journeys has proven successful with the debut of Explora I last summer. The growing demand for this ship amongst Irish customers is evident, and in the upcoming year, MSC Cruises is set to launch Explora II.

Looking ahead, MSC Cruises has exciting plans for Ireland….
