Crystal’s 2013 Northern Europe: Shorter Itineraries, More Overnights, More Variety

Shorter summer voyages with more overnight calls highlight Crystal Cruises’ Baltic, Scandinavian, and British Isles cruise collection. Beginning 8th June aboard the award-winning Crystal Serenity, three new seven-day itineraries and five 10-day luxury cruises will take guests to some of the region’s most beautiful, culturally significant cities and landscapes in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Estonia, Germany, Belgium, Finland, Russia, the UK and Ireland. The cruises also offer a more than 25% increase in local overnights, with double the nights in Copenhagen alone.

“Summer is a spectacular time to explore Northern Europe,” said Jack Anderson, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. “The shorter voyages offer guests more convenient options for families and busy travellers to explore the history, culture, and beauty of the region.”

New Mediterranean Ports

Meanwhile, for its 2013 Mediterranean cruise season, Crystal Cruises is making first-time-ever visits to Çanakkale, Turkey; La Spezia, Italy; and Castellón de la Plana, Spain. The maiden calls offer new exploration of historic and off-the-beaten path areas from the eastern Mediterranean Sea to the west, including the Dardanelles/Adriatic, Italian Riviera, and Costa del Azahar.

The 7- to 13-day itineraries surrounding the new destinations also offer cultural capital overnights and extra port intensiveness.

All-inclusive ‘Book Now’ fares for the series start from US$3,110pp, with up to $1,500pp in savings if booked by 28th December.
