CityJet has today announced a 25% expansion of its Dublin to London City route and will put on up to nine flights every weekday as of 26th October 2014. CityJet will also start operating the earliest flight out of London City Airport with an 06.45 departure.
The independent airline currently serves over 250,000 passengers on the route every year with 94% of all flights departing on time. Now in the 20th year of operating on the Dublin to London City route, the latest expansion helps to further connect the two capital cities and thousands of businesses in the financial, media and technology sectors.
Patrick Lukan, CityJet’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “As an Irish-based carrier, the Dublin to London City route has always been, and remains, very important to us. We continue to listen to our customers and they tell us that schedule and service are key to them making their buying decision which is why we have increased our all-jet service to up to nine flights a day. We are proud to have serviced this route for more than 20 years and intend to continue to play a key part of the expansion of service between the two capitals.”
