Sharon Jordan said: “Great consideration and care has gone into keeping the features that our guests know and love about Insight Vacations at the heart of what we do. The business class legroom on coaches, premium hotels in central locations, high level of inclusions and working with tour directors at the peak of their careers remains consistent across our tours. What we have added is an array of inspirational and engaging experiences that will add an authentic dimension to all of our itineraries and ensure our guest experience is unparalleled.”

A ‘signature’ is a sign of authenticity and in their new brochure they have highlighted a range of signature hotels, dining and experiences. They have selected nearly 60 signature hotels that have something really special about them – they could be a chateau or manor house or be set in an incredible location like Hotel Ruze in the centre of Cesky Kromlov or a UNESCO world heritage site.

Signature experiences have been designed to capture the imagination of their guests whether they are watching sheepdog training in the Scottish highlands, olive oil tasting in Provence, learning about the workings of an organic farm or visiting glassblowers, artisans, clog makers or stone masons to watch them at work and get an insight into their lives.

The introduction of Moldova to the programme as part of the new 11-day Ukraine, Moldova and Crimea and Andorra and San Marino on the 16-day Principalities of Europe means Insight Vacations now has itineraries in every country in geographical Europe with the exception of one – becoming the only tour operator to do so.

Additional new features in 2014 programme include:

–                An expanded Country Roads programme brings the total number to 20. Country Roads itineraries get off the beaten track to explore scenic areas and cities and usually include a unique Signature Hotel

–                Added Mini Trips including a Milan shopping experience and extra departures of the World War 1 Battlefields trip

–                Extensive wi-fi availability on coaches and in hotels
