ITTN Attends TravelTalks Australia and New Zealand Showcase

ITTN’s Julia Labedz & selected members of the trade attended the TravelTalks Australia and New Zealand Showcase last night, hosted in Foley’s Bar by SLC representatives Kevin Rodgers and Matt McCausland.

The showcase offered an in-depth look at top destinations and tourism products across Australia and New Zealand, with expert speakers presenting a range of luxurious, adventurous, and wildlife-rich offerings.

The event featured presentations from representatives of some of Australia’s most iconic attractions and accommodations, including Taronga Zoo Sydney, Finniss River Lodge, Wildlife Tropical North Queensland, Barossa Shiraz Estate, Rawnsley Park Station, and THL Motorhomes.

Zane Williams – Taronga Zoo Sydney

Kicking things off was Zane Williams, representing the iconic Taronga Zoo Sydney. If you’re thinking, “Just another zoo,” think again. Perched with views over Sydney Harbour, Taronga offers a wildlife experience like no other. Visitors can walk among the kangaroos, koalas, and other Aussie critters looking over the Sydney Harbour. It’s no wonder they call it a “Zoo with a View!”

But it’s not just about the views – Taronga is home to over 4,000 animals from all around the world, making it a must-visit for wildlife enthusiasts. Their commitment to conservation and animal welfare means that each visit supports vital efforts to protect endangered species, both in Australia and globally.

For those looking for something extra special, Taronga offers premium wildlife experiences, including behind-the-scenes tours led by zookeepers rather than guides, animal encounters, and even the chance to stay overnight in their unique Roar and Snore glamping tents. Taronga Zoo Sydney is much more than just a zoo – it’s an ethical wildlife experience. To find out more, visit their website here.
