Emirates has announced a pilot recruitment roadshow for Dublin, to be held over two days later this month.
What: Emirates Dublin Pilot Recruitment Roadshow
Where: The Clayton Hotel, Charlemont Street, Dublin 2
When: September 22/23, 10am
Emirates said: “This event presents an exciting opportunity for Irish pilots to explore career opportunities with one of the world’s most prestigious airlines.”
Emirates – which is famous, here, for its double-daily route between Dublin and Dubai – saw more than 450,000 customers fly from Dublin to Dubai last year and Emirates’ passenger numbers rose by 19% to nearly 52 million last year.
So, to support expanding operations, the airline is seeking experienced commercial pilots from Ireland to join its global team.
Emirates recently announced significant changes to its pilot recruitment, including higher salaries, new roles, and a revamp of its eligibility criteria.
The airline is recruiting for four programmes: Direct Entry Captains, Accelerated Command, and First Officers, both Type Rated and Non-Type Rated.
Anita Thomas, Emirates’ Country Manager for Ireland, commented: “Irish pilots have a long-standing tradition of excellence, and we’re offering them the chance to be part of our growing team.
“Emirates pilots fly one of the youngest and most modern all-wide-body fleets, serving over 140 destinations worldwide. We look forward to welcoming more Irish pilots onboard as we expand our operations globally.”
