Lidl, the German-owned supermarket chain that has more than 170 outlets throughout the country, has expanded its holiday offerings. Prior to this the company had been offering many special offers in Irish hotels – but it is now also offering international hotels in France, Spain,Portugal, Egypt, Dubai and the USA.
An example of a current offer is seven nights on 18th May in the 4-star Hotel Santa Catarina in Madeira from €61 per person sharing per stay, or the 4-star Banburee Resort and Spa Hotel in Koh Samui in Thailand from €30 per person sharing per night.
Lidl says that these beach-style offers are available on many other dates in June and throughout the summer.
