Lufthansa City Airlines – the regional carrier of the Lufthansa Group – has confirmed Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Hanover, Birmingham, Bordeaux and Manchester as its first flight destinations for summer 2024.
The start-up regional airline will “gradually expand its network and offer further destinations in Europe”.
Lufthansa has ordered 40 Airbus A220-300 aircraft for the new airline, with 20 further purchase options.
Flights for the new carrier will be available to purchase from the end of April.
