Aer Lingus and Ryanair have both been ranked among the safest international airlines in the world going into the New Year.
Both Irish carriers received a maximum 7-star ranking in AirlineRatings.com’s latest annual airline safety survey.
The list – which also includes quality of in-flight dining and entertainment in its rankings – is topped by Air New Zealand, Qantas, Etihad, Qatar Airlines and Emirates.
