City of Dreams Mediterranean – which has been billed as Europe’s first integrated resort – has been named Best New Luxury Casino Resort – World at the 2023 Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards.
It is the first time this award has been made at these awards, which are now in their 11th year.
The award also comes just 4 months after City of Dreams opened in Cyprus.
The resort – owned and operated by Hong Kong company Melco Resorts & Entertainment – includes a hotel, casino, restaurants and expo centre and is modelled as a year-round destination. It only opened, near Limassol, in July.
