Advantage Austria Dublin and the Austrian National Tourist Office London hosted the Irish Travel Trade and Media at a networking event, followed by lunch and presentations in the Camden Court Hotel, Dublin today.

Key points mentioned in today’s presentations were:
- Most English and Irish tourists travel to the village of Soll which is located in Wilder Kaiser.
- There are 113km of slopes in Tyrol and they promote their family offers including family ski passes and family fun slopes.
- Alpbachtal Wildshönau has a 13-metre wooden bridge with a 360-degree viewpoint and an alpine coaster.
- The ski season in Zell am See runs from early October to the end of May due to the glacier.
- Innsbruck, the capital of the Alps have 13 ski resorts with 308km of skiing, it’s an all-year-round destination as it’s also very cultural and more than just a traditional ski destination. There are even two shopping centres with a Penney’s.
