Top of the Rock or Roller-Skating Spectacular at Rockefeller Centre

Ryan Schwartz (Rockefeller Center) chats to ITTN’s Shane Cullen about Top of the Rock – the 3-floor observation deck offering 360-degree views of NYC’s epic skyline with Central Park, Empire State Building, and the Hudson River all the way to Staten Island visible from the rooftop (on a clear day!).

The Rink at Rockefeller

The Rink at Rockefeller with ice-skating under the iconic Rockefeller Christmas Tree during the holiday season is unforgettable. No prior experience is needed, they supply the skates, and a solid hour with plenty of support from staff means complete novices can master the ice (or rent a penguin stand for support!).

For the summer season, the area switches to Flippers at the Rink. Relive your youth, pull on those roller skates and rock out to the tunes at this iconic location.

Rainbow Room & Christie’s Auction House and More

Rockefeller Centre is home to the unforgettable Rainbow Room restaurant made famous from the stars and celebrities as well as the many movies in which it featured. Equally renowned is Christie’s Auction House also located at Rockefeller Centre though Ryan Schwartz highlights there is something for everyone. Big name brands, designers, and more, all located at the centre means there are over 100 shops and eateries to choose from with everything from Ben & Jerry’s to the NBC Store selling merchandise from popular NBC shows like Jimmy Fallon, Parks & Recreation, The Office to name a few.
