Saturday night’s Gala Dinner at the Travel Centres conference in the Killashee House Hotel & Villa Spa near Naas, Co Kildare, saw World Travel Centre and Wings Abroad being declared joint winners of the Best Supplier Award, as voted by the consortium’s 54 members.
Each of the consortium’s 19 preferred suppliers also nominated their best agency, with O’Hanrahan Travel walking off with five nominations (from Globe Travel, Crystal Holidays, Attraction World, World Travel Centre, and Blue Insurances), while Marble City Travel received three (from BookaBed, Royal Caribbean International, and MSC Cruises), and Lee Travel won twice (Silversea and Wings Abroad), as did The Travel Broker (Hurtigruten and TravelCube).
Other winners of single nominations were Blackpool Travel (Sunway), Creation Travel (Thomas Cook), King Travel (A2B Transfers), Roscrea Travel (Breakaway), Corrib Travel (Irish Ferries), Harvey Travel (Holiday Autos), and Travelworld (One Stop Touring Shop).
