
Wendy Wu Tours has joined forces with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) in a major new partnership to champion the Greater Bay Area (GBA) — Asia’s newest and most exciting touring frontier connecting Hong Kong, Macau, and mainland China’s Guangdong Province.
The collaboration marks a strategic move to put this vibrant multi-destination region firmly on the map for travel agents. Combining the destination authority of the Hong Kong Tourism Board with Wendy Wu Tours’ award-winning expertise in escorted touring, the campaign will equip the trade with the tools, training and product needed to turn curiosity into confident sales.

At the heart of the initiative is a brand-new Greater Bay Area Short Stay, a seven-day journey that showcases the region’s dazzling contrasts — from Hong Kong’s glittering skyline and iconic harbour to Macau’s Portuguese-inspired heritage and the futuristic waterfronts of Zhuhai and Guangdong. Priced from £2,290 per person, the 6-day tour includes four-star accommodation, daily breakfast, transfers, guiding and sightseeing throughout. It can be sold as a stand-alone short break or combined seamlessly with Wendy Wu Tours’ wider China collection, giving agents a flexible new way to upsell or enhance customer itineraries.

The partnership was celebrated at this week’s Greater Bay Area Trade Lunch in London, attended by tourism representatives from Hong Kong, Macau and Guangdong alongside UK trade partners and media.
