VisitScotland has promoted Amanda Henderson to the role of Meetings and Incentives Marketing Manager, UK and Europe, within its Business Tourism Unit. The organisation has also appointed two new marketing executives at its Edinburgh HQ and a business tourism executive for the northern region.
Amanda, formerly Marketing Manager, Europe, is tasked with increasing meetings and incentive business to Scotland from within the UK and around the world. She retains responsibility for the Business Tourism Unit’s European marketing strategy and will work alongside Lindsay Brown, UK Marketing Manager – Business Tourism.
The Business Tourism Unit has also welcomed two new Marketing Executives, Louisa Mungall and Danielle McKinlay, and Heather McNee has been appointed Business Tourism Executive.
Based in Inverness, Heather will work alongside Moira Unwin, Business Tourism Manager North, to grow the meetings and incentives market to the northern region. Her new role also involves marketing Scotland to the North of England, organising marketing opportunities such as Scotland on Tour, which takes venue representatives to meet agency buyers.

Meanwhile, Fairmont St Andrews, VisitLanarkshire and The Royal Yacht Britannia are among the partners confirmed for this year’s Scotland Mean Business showcase.
Organised by VisitScotland’s Business Tourism Unit, the annual flagship event promotes Scotland to a worldwide audience of MICE agents, corporate bookers and trade press.
