Vietnam Continues to Attract Visitors – ATF 2015

Vietnam continues to attract international visitors with its rich assets base of attractions. That was the country’s message at ATF 2015 in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.IMG_6713

 

It seems that 2014 was a tough year for the economy of Vietnam, and this in turn impacted on the operation of the tourism industry. However, the number of tourists in most markets increased over the same period in 2013, particularly the following: the Hong Kong market increased by 61.2%, Germany 51.3%, Russia 25.2%, Spain 22.6%; Cambodia 18.2%; Italy 12.9%; Laos 12.9%; and South Korea 12.0%. Just within the 11 months of 2014, Vietnam welcomed more than 7.2 million international visitors, an increase of 5.4% compared to the same period in 2013.IMG_6606

Recently, the tourism industry has been constantly promoting the image of Vietnam, attracting more international tourists to the country. Besides, infrastructure and new air services also facilitated tourists to Vietnam, the security and safety of guests are guaranteed. The Vietnam tourism brand is gradually winning acceptance on the international market. Plus, more and more international tour operators choose Vietnam as their tourist destinations. These are positive signs for the tourism industry in 2015, and the tourism industry is expected to gain more success in the upcoming years.

Vietnam is blessed with two magnificent World Heritage sites: Ha Long Bay and Phang Nha-Ke Bang National Park, which should be on every visitor’s must see list.
