US Airways is to re-introduce its daily non-stop Shannon – Philadelphia service from 22nd May to 3rd September 2013 (eastbound dates) and flights are now on sale. Flight 777 will depart Shannon at 11.35 and arrive Philadelphia at 14.05, with return flight 776 departing at 21.05 and arriving Dublin at 08.40 the following day.
The seasonal service will complement US Airways’ year-round daily service from Dublin to Philadelphia and its seasonal daily service from Dublin to Charlotte.
“As a popular destination in Europe, US Airways is thrilled to return to Shannon, Ireland, with seasonal service from our international gateway at Philadelphia International Airport,” said Andrew Nocella, US Airways Senior Vice President, Marketing and Planning. “Beginning next spring, our customers will again have non-stop access to both coasts of Ireland. Customers can begin their trip with the Cliffs of Moher outside of Shannon and end it with the castles in Dublin, seeing all that Ireland has to offer.”
