United Upgrades Premium Dining Options

United has introduced new menu options in its premium cabins beginning Friday 1st June. Customers on long-haul international flights traveling in Global First and BusinessFirst can choose from high-quality, restaurant-style entrées, including selections of beef, chicken, fish and vegetarian-style pastas.

“The changes come after many months of input from customers and from our Congress of Chefs, as well as taste-testing sessions,” said Sandra Pineau-Boddison, Vice President of Food Services. “Our goal is to deliver a better and more-consistent experience for our customers, while offering greater variety and choice.”

United International Premium Cabin Dining

Premium-cabin customers begin their dining experience with warm nuts accompanied by a spirit, beer, wine or champagne. Global First customers receive a six-course meal of an appetiser, soup, salad with gourmet breads, entrée, cheese and fruit, and dessert. For BusinessFirst customers, the airline offers a five-course meal with an appetiser, salad with gourmet breads, entrée, cheese and fruit, and dessert.

Regional specialties include sushi appetisers and Japanese meals on flights to and from Tokyo and Osaka, and hot noodle soup as a mid-flight snack on flights to and from China.

All premium-cabin meals conclude with made-to-order ice cream sundaes, liqueurs, world-class port wine and freshly brewed coffee. United offers these options on long-haul international flights between the USA and Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South America, Asia and Australia.
