United Named Best Worldwide Airline and Barry Jackson as Travel Trade Representative of the Year

United was named Best Worldwide Airline at the Northern Ireland Travel and Tourism Awards 2012 on Friday night at the Slieve Donard Resort & Spa, Newcastle, Co Down, where Barry Jackson, the airline’s Account Manager Northern Ireland, also won Travel Trade Representative of the Year.

It is the sixth year in a row that United, which operates a year-round non-stop service from Belfast International Airport to its New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, has been recognised as Best Worldwide Airline in the awards.

Barry was named Travel Trade Representative of the Year for a second time, after winning the award in 2010, and was joined by Yvonne Muldoon, Sales Manager Ireland, to accept both awards, which are based on votes by the Northern Ireland travel trade community.
