United Named ‘Best Airline to North America’ at Irish Travel Trade Awards

United Airlines has won the highly coveted award for ‘Best Airline to North America’ at the Irish Travel Trade Awards for the sixth consecutive year, based on voting by Irish travel industry professionals.

Accepting the award, Pat Reede, United’s Acting Sales Manager Ireland & Northern Ireland, said: “We are thrilled to win this prestigious award, which is a recognition of the efforts of the entire United team in Ireland. We look forward to another successful year in 2014, including the return of our Shannon – Chicago O’Hare service with an expanded summer schedule.”

United, celebrating 15 years of serving Ireland this year, operates flights to its New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, from Shannon, Dublin and Belfast, as well as a non-stop service between Dublin and its Washington DC hub, Dulles International Airport. United has announced the return of its non-stop summer service from Shannon to Chicago O’Hare, which will operate from 23rd May to 5th September 2014.
