United Dublin – Washington DC: From Your House to the White House

United celebrated at Dublin Airport on Friday 8th June with the inaugural flight of its new daily non-stop service to its Washington DC hub, Dulles International Airport. The B757-200 offers 16 flat-bed seats in BusinessFirst, 45 Economy Plus seats (with 12.7cm or 5” of extra legroom) and 108 Economy seats.

Bob Schumacher, Managing Director Sales, Ireland & UK, said: “Having operated our Dublin-New York/Newark service successfully for 14 years, the new Dublin – Washington/Dulles service will further benefit our customers in Ireland, offering reduced journey times between the two cities, as well as increased travel options.”

United now offers four daily B757-200 services from three airports in Ireland – from Dublin to New York and Washington DC, and from Belfast and Shannon to New York. United offers non-stop service to more than 80 cities across the Americas from Washington/Dulles and to more than 100 cities across the Americas from New York/Newark, as well as more than 300 destinations in total from both hubs to North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Flight UA127 departs Dublin at 11.25 and arrives Washington/Dulles at 14.25, while return flight UA126 departs Washington/Dulles at 22.02 and arrives Dublin at 09.55 the following day. There is an introductory Economy fare from €578 for travel up to 15th June and between 1 September and 31st October 2012 (inclusive of airport tax and charges, Saturday night minimum stay, three months maximum stay).
