United Airlines to Launch Manchester – Washington DC Non-Stop Service in May 2012

United Continental Holdings, Inc. have announced that United Airlines will launch daily non-stop service from Manchester to its Washington DC hub, Dulles International Airport, effective 2nd May 2012 (westbound), subject to government approval.

“We are delighted to offer our customers non-stop service to Washington DC, in addition to New York,” said Bob Schumacher, United’s Managing Director UK & Ireland. “As well as cutting journey times for travellers between the two cities, the new schedule will greatly increase the range of options for customers travelling beyond our hubs to destinations throughout the Americas. Our ability to continue offering year-round, daily non-stop service from Manchester to New York while adding a Washington non-stop service illustrates the merger synergies of our expanded network.”

The Washington flight, CO101/UA101, will depart Manchester daily at 12.00 and arrive at Washington/Dulles at 15.08 the same day. The return flight, CO100/UA100, will depart Washington/Dulles daily at 22.16 and arrive at Manchester at 10.20 the next day.
