United Airlines Marks Dublin-NY Anniversary

United Airlines has marked the 25th anniversary of its non-stop direct service from Dublin Airport to New York/Newark.

The route launched in June 1998 and has since carried nearly 3.5 million customers on more than 20,000 flights.

United has served Ireland since 1998 and – earlier this week – also celebrated its 25th year serving New York/Newark out of Shannon Airport.

The airline also services Chicago from Ireland.
