UK-based B2B tour operator Classic Collection has announced that it is to start selling holidays from Ireland.
The move into Ireland follows confirmation of the partnership, last February, between Ryanair and Classic Collection’s parent company, On the Beach.
Si Morris-Green, Director B2B, commented: ”Our launch in Ireland means we are able to provide more choice and great value to trade partners who want to book their customers from their local airports in the Irish Republic, as well as the protection they need to book with confidence.
“The 100% agent-focussed operator will offer a wide selection of European beach holidays bookable in euros from Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Knock and Shannon airports.
“In the initial phase of our launch we’ll be working with a limited number of partners in Ireland. Planned system upgrades, which are due to be completed in the next few months, will see us open sales to the wider travel trade community in the Republic.”
Airline partners working alongside the B2B operator will include Aer Lingus, Pegasus, Ryanair and Sun Express.
