Two New Passes from Aerolíneas Argentinas

This Friday (16th September) Aerolíneas Argentinas will be introducing the new Visit Argentina Air Pass and a new South America Air Pass. With Visit Argentina you can purchase between three and 12 flights in advance and have three months to complete your trip. The same applies to the South America Air Pass – and the trip must include at least two countries and include up to 10 destinations in Argentina. Aerolíneas Argentinas serves 33 cities in Argentina.

This was announced this morning by Max Campos, the airline’s Head of Sales UK and Ireland, at a reception held for the Irish travel industry at the residence in Dublin of the Argentinian Ambassdor, Dr María Esther Teresa Bondanza.

In July Aerolíneas Argentinas began operating a new hub in Cordoba (COR), with daily flights to Ezeiza (EZE) and four flights a week to Iguazu (IGR), Salta (SLA) and Bariloche (BRC).

Aerolíneas Argentinas is also upgrading its Aerolíneas Plus frequent flyer programme to an ‘Elite’ group that will include Platinum members and the new Gold card membership. A minimum of 3,000 points is required to qualify.

Claudia Morales, Managing Director of Branding Latin America / Travel in London, highlighted some of the top hotels in Argentina, and Barcelona-based Leandro Bruno, Sales / Europe, Cruceros Australis, featured the Cape Horn cruises from Punta Arenas and Ushuaia on the 136-passenger Via Australis and 210-passenger Stella Australis.
