Türkiye (Turkey) has taken over as shot up the rankings as one of the favourite choices amongst Irish holidaymakers for all-inclusive sun holidays.
Latest research from online travel expert On the Beach shows Türkiye up to 4th favourite all-inclusive destination amongst Irish sunseekers. The significance of that is that it has overtaken Portugal and now only trails the Canary Islands, mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands in popularity.

When it comes to the top region, Antalya, known as the Turquoise Coast for its blue waters and with a flight time from Dublin under five hours, it’s in the top ten regions for Irish summer getaways.
Zoe Harris, chief customer officer at On the Beach said: “The allure of Turkey has certainly made its way into the hearts of Irish sunseekers, as it takes a lot to distract away from the long-term Spanish favourites. If you’re looking for incredible value for money, Turkey is definitely worth exploring.

“Offering some of the largest selection of four and five star all-inclusive hotels, with some boasting on-site theme parks, water parks, private beaches and an endless number of restaurants, you’re certainly getting more than a few churros for your euros when away.”

With over half (55%) of Irish families choosing an all-inclusive summer getaway, experts at On the Beach share their top adventure-filled Turkish resorts offering something for the entire family to enjoy.
