Turkish Airlines has thanked all the travel agent participants in the recent Ireland heat of the 9th annual Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, the world’s most prominent corporate golf tournament.

The Irish heat took place last month at Powerscourt Golf Club in Dublin – the 78th heat of 118 similar tournaments around the world. Each heat winner goes through to compete in the Grand Finals in Türkiye later this year.

Glenn Taggart won the Irish heat with a net score of 39, and Carl Lonergran was runner-up, while Paul Sullivan came third. The Closest to the Pin competition was won by Shay Burke for the men and Olwen McKinney for the women. Hugo Kean won the lowest gross score with a score of 32. Due to eligibility rules Paul Sullivan will go to the Grand Finals to represent Dublin.

Turkish Airlines General Manager in Dublin, Ebuzer Tanhan said: “We warmly thank all of our guests who made the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup here in Dublin a huge success. Once again, it was a thrilling tournament in the TAWGC series, congratulations to our winner, Paul Sullivan. We wish him the best of luck in Türkiye.”
