Turkish Airlines initiated a code-share agreement with fellow Star Alliance member, Eva Air on 4th June 2015 on the Istanbul – Taipei route, bringing more one-stop connections to the Taiwan capital for ex-Dublin travellers. Turkish Airlines currently operates daily flights on its Istanbul – Taipei route and next year Eva Air will also launch service on the route.
The code-share marks the first stage of collaboration between these two airlines, which will aim to benefit passengers with a higher number of combined frequencies for better connectivity and increased travel flexibility between their two countries. The two airlines are also entering into a Special Prorate Agreement (SPA) that will enable passengers who book connecting flights to travel with one ticket and check baggage all the way through to their desired destination.
Turkish Airlines currently links 226 international destinations.
