Hasan Mutlu has been appointed as General Manager of Turkish Airlines in Dublin as of July 2016. Hasan started his career at Turkish Airlines as a part-time Passenger Service Agent in 1998, one year before he graduated from university, and supervised the station co-ordination centre for three years until March 2004.
His long and successful career continued as the Station & Sales Manager in Beirut, Lebanon, and as the General Manager of Lagos, Nigeria, Almaty in Kazakhstan and Tokyo, Japan, consecutively between the years 2004 to 2013. He established Turkish Airlines’ Lagos office and started the operations in 2006 and transferred it into an efficient and profitable destination before he went on in his career as the General Manager of Almaty in 2007 and Tokyo in 2011.
Hassan has also worked at the Turkish Aviation Academy where he has built on his experience, an academy that has been offering training courses for over 30 years to people from many different aviation companies both in Turkey and abroad and continues to be one of the leading aviation training centres in Turkey with expert trainers and a quality training approach.
He is very excited to be in Ireland and looking forward to meeting the Irish public and all those involved in the travel sector and to the challenge of bringing Turkish Airlines to a new level in the Irish market, expanding even beyond the current impressive double daily flights to 292 destinations around the world.
