Murat Balandi and his team from Turkish Airlines welcomed trade and corporate partners for a wonderful day’s golf and dinner at Killeen Castle. A great atmosphere was evident with all participants enjoying the day and David Conlon of Travelport and Shane Taggart of Hume Accountants winning the trip to the Turkish Airlines World of Golf Competition 2014.
David (class 2) had a winning score of 40 points and Shane (class 1) had 39 points, which will see them flying to Turkey to compete in the airline’s World Golf Cup competition 2014.
The inaugural series of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup global amateur golf competition took place in 2013, with 12 qualifying events worldwide. These events provide a unique opportunity to network with senior business people from around the world in a relaxed environment, while enjoying a round of golf. Due to the resounding success of last year’s competition this year’s event has been expanded to include qualifying events in 50 destinations worldwide.
