Tunisia Offers to Host ITAA Conference

Tunisia is going all out to convince the Irish Travel Agents Association to hold its next conference in the North African country. Speaking to ITTN, Wahida Jaiet, Director General of the Tunisian Tourist Board, said that Ireland is now beginning to show growth in visitor numbers. The 2014 figures of more than 9,000 show a 70% plus increase over the previous year.

With more operators now offering programmes, she feels that this the ideal time to woo Irish travel agents by inviting the ITAA to have its annual conference in Tunisia this year.

Sunway hosted the trade to a festive lunch recently to promote Tunisia, with many of the top agents selling Tunisia present.

Tunisia has much to offer the Irish visitor, with golf, history, culture and spas a few of the headline features that this most interesting destination has to offer.
