TSN Roadshow had its final hurrah for 2025 in the Deise last Thursday and what a wonderful send off the locals gave.
The sun once again played a blinder with the Marina Hotel the perfect location to enjoy a riverside welcome drink before tucking into a delicious dinner and absorbing the updates from each supplier, washed down well with a few beverages. Learning is thirsty work to be fair!
The ever energetic MC Craig Donnelly kept the crowd entertained and the flow moving well throughout the evening, once again broken up with some matchmaking, where Jean Cusack picked Brian of Island Marketing out of a line up (though she was adamant it had nothing to do with his big holiday giveaway!).
And speaking of – the first shortlister in line to win themselves a 7-night Travelmarvel river cruise was Strand Travel’s own Darren Hutchinson who in his delight exclaimed he has yet to set foot onboard a river cruise ship. The odds are now in his favour as he’ll be up against one lucky agent drawn from each previous event culminating in a final where one attendee will be setting sail.
And the night could not go without marking a very special occasion and Harvey Travel’s Ian Manto was called on to be celebrated and blow out some birthday candles. As is his now lovely custom, he also offered the group some grateful and very sweet thanks for retuning to Waterford for another year.
