Sinead Reilly and the Travelport team of Joanne Madden, David Conlon, Tara Haynes and Sharon Lyons brought the new Smartpoint product to the trade at The Marker Hotel last week. This was the final call of three Smartpoint presentations around Ireland.
Offering more content and allowing agents to upsell into aspects of the trade such as hotels and car hire and bookings for low-cost airlines at best available fares are among the many features of the product.
Adding value and content to sales gives the agent the opportunity to impress the customer and therefore increase revenue for the agency.
More than 150 airlines have so far signed up for Travelpoint Smartpoint including United, British Airways and Air Canada, with many more planning to get involved.
