Travelport has appointed Sinead Reilly as its new Country Manager – Ireland. With nearly 10 years’ experience at Travelport in Ireland, she will officially take up her new role on 25th June 2012 and be based in the Fenian Street office in Dublin. Sinead was chosen following a recruitment process that attracted global applications from internal and external candidates.
Reporting to Simon Ferguson, Regional Director for the UK & Ireland, Sinead is tasked with leading the local team and building on the growth platform established in Ireland over the past 18 months. This process has included the launch of new products such as Travelport SmartpointApp, the vNett virtual payment solution, and Travelport CruiseNet, as well as the signing of a number of new customers including expanded relationships with Atlas Travel, Club Travel and Travelpaths.

Travelport is further strengthening its team through the appointment of David Conlon as Key Account Manager, and the appointment of Neville Firth to the newly created position of Commercial Analyst. Neville will provide industry analysis to Travelport’s customers, and support the development of new partnerships to broaden the business offerings in Ireland.
