Travelmarvel, the flexible, four-star brand from the river cruise and touring specialist, APT, has expanded its small ship programme into Greece, a brand-new destination for 2025.
With two sailings operating in May 2025, Travelmarvel’s 8-day Greek Island Explorer voyage has been expertly created to showcase the “real Greece” at a leisurely pace, transporting discerning guests through the beautiful Cyclades and Dodecanese islands as they enjoy the intimate ambience and personalised onboard service of the MV Belle de l’Adriatique.
Newly renovated, Belle de l’Adriatique was chosen for her intimate size, which can dock at smaller ports and take guests right into the heart of these unforgettable islands, where they can hop off and explore without disembarkation queues or tenders.
Over 8 days, the Greek Island Explorer cruise combines the unmissable destinations of Athens, Rhodes and Santorini with the lesser-known islands of Syros, Milos and Amorgos. Optional panoramic tours connect guests with the culture, history, and local insights of each island, as they enjoy awe-inspiring views and the delicious food and wines of the local tavernas.
After daytimes exploring Greece at its most authentic, guests can fully relax in the comfort of their well-appointed cabin; 90 rooms are arranged across four decks. Dining aboard Belle de l’Adriatique is inspired by the Mediterranean, and meals can be enjoyed in the main restaurant or alfresco on the beautiful sundeck.
Excellent wines, premium drinks or a freshly brewed coffee, prepared the onboard barista, can be enjoyed in the relaxing bar area, or up top as the island scenery slides by. Every detail is taken care of, delivered with APT’s gold standard of hospitality, service and entertainment, perfected over the last 100 years.
Travelmarvel is also offering an extended, 13-day itinerary, combining the week-long small ship cruise with a five-day tour of the mainland. Authentic Greece (from €4,945 per person) combines the “real Greece” island cruise with the ancient treasures and classical history of Thermopylae, Kalambaka, Delphi, Nafplion, and Mycenae. There will be 25 places on each extension, so places are limited, and guests should book early to avoid disappointment.
Brad Bennetts, Head of Sales & Business Development for APT & Travelmarvel, said: “Following the incredible reception of our inaugural Small Ship and Yachting programme, we have been working to expand the range of destinations and experiences that our guests can enjoy. Island cruising in Croatia remains one of our most popular products, and our guests tell us that accessing the smaller and more authentic ports is an important way for them to see the ‘real’ destination. The islands of Greece are the perfect addition to the portfolio, combining fascinating local culture, rich ancient history, and delicious food & wine, with some of the world’s best and most beautiful cruising.”

The price includes seven nights of cruise accommodation; 20 meals; beer, wine and soft drinks served with lunch and dinner onboard; sightseeing in six destinations, and the services of a Travelmarvel Cruise Director and local guides.
