
The 2026 Travel Media Awards took place this week recognising excellence within the travel media community. The awards took place after Meet the Media 2026, at the Clayton Burlington Road, Dublin.










This year’s Travel Media Awards celebrated outstanding contributions across ten categories.
The awards were once again supported by Visit Portugal with Director for Ireland, Carlos Oliveira, presenting the winners with their trophies.

Michael Collins, MD of TravelMedia.ie, said: “We were proud to bring the awards back in 2025 and even prouder to expand them to ten categories in 2026. Speaking at the awards, Carlos Oliveira, Director of Visit Portugal Ireland said: “I was very happy to continue our support of the Travel Media Awards. Irish visitation to Portugal continues to grow and that is no small part thanks to the hard work of Irish media covering Portugal as a destination.”
