Travel Counsellors Ireland, specialists in corporate and leisure travel, has announced the appointment of Ciara MacConnell as its new Corporate Travel Manager.
In this role, Ms MacConnell will oversee the delivery of highly personalised solutions for corporate business travel, supporting and advancing the work of the 85 Travel Counsellors in Ireland as they continue to expand the company’s corporate travel offerings, Travel Counsellors for Business.
She brings over 25 years of travel industry experience to the role. Having joined Travel Counsellors in 2007, Ms MacConnell has held key roles with the Irish branch of the company — headquartered in Mahon, Cork — including Operations and Business Development Executive.

The company has seen significant growth in Ireland, achieving €10m in corporate travel sales over the past year, a 22% increase on the previous period, which now represents nearly 20% of their total €52m in Irish sales.
Ms MacConnell’s appointment will be instrumental in sustaining this upward trajectory as she strengthens corporate offerings and promotes the benefits of Travel Counsellors’ innovative Travel Management solutions. Travel Counsellors globally recently reached a historic milestone of £1bn in sales, highlighting the growing demand for customised, expert-led travel experiences. With a global network of over 2,000 Travel Counsellors, including 85 dedicated professionals in Ireland, the company continues to set a high standard for personalised travel expertise.
