Travel Counsellors has announced further expansion to its head office support team in Cork with the appointment of Sinead Cregan-Hayes as Sales and Business Development Executive.
Sinead joins Travel Counsellors with over 25 years’ experience within the industry and her role will focus on empowering the very best and experienced travel professionals of Ireland to join and run their own businesses as part of the company, while enhancing the support to its growing number of Travel Counsellors.
Sinead, who most recently worked as Regional Sales Manager for Falcon Travel Shops managing over 20 retail stores throughout Ireland, said: “I am extremely excited about my new position with Travel Counsellors. I think the company’s business model, which focuses on heavily supporting its agents so that they can deliver the highest levels of customer service, is fantastic and something I look forward to sharing with others in the industry. Plus I also share the strong family values and ethos that the company prides itself on, again something that is very unique and appealed to me when applying for the position. It is certainly exciting times for the business and I really look forward to being part of it.”
This latest appointment comes as the company continues to grow its family of agents, with a further two travel professionals joining the company in the Republic of Ireland this month. There are now 54 Travel Counsellors running their own home-based travel businesses across the country, with a further 1,200 agents operating across eight countries and supported by a team of over 250 staff. Travel Counsellors Ireland continues to go from strength to strength with sales up by more than 13% in the past six months.
