Travel Counsellors will broadcast a webcast for anyone interested in running their own corporate travel businesses this evening, Thursday 1st November, as part of a drive to recruit more business travel agents. The show, which will air at 7.30pm, will feature a number of agents who have joined Travel Counsellors from corporate travel backgrounds talking about their personal experiences in making the decision to run their own businesses from home.
Steve Byrne, Managing Director, said: “We have seen significant growth in this area of the business, for example sales for our corporate travel division increased by 24% in October compared to the previous year, with 30 new business accounts being set up in that month alone, and we have seen an average 12% increase in sales year on year.
“Equally there has been a significant increase in new agents joining the company as Business Travel Counsellors. Therefore we felt this was the right time to host a dedicated webcast for anyone interested in finding out more about what makes us tick and hear first-hand from agents who have made the move.”
Viewers will be able to message in live and ask the agents questions during the show. It will be aired live from the company’s in-house studio at its head office in Lancashire, England, and will also be available for viewers to watch via iPhones.
