
Irish agents reaped the benefits of attending TIPTO’s Belfast event as the marketing body returned to the city last week to host one of its famed roadshow events.
Supporting agents in their quest to boost knowledge and successfully convert more enquiries into bookings, TIPTO, and its 12 attending supplier members, welcomed 42 agents to Hilton Belfast with the aim of increasing product knowledge via Face2Face interactions.

True to TIPTO’s tried and tested formula, agents enjoyed a fun evening of speed-dating style learning, with networking, drinks and a two-course dinner.
As an important resource that supports all Irish agents and homeworkers, TIPTO celebrates the successes of its agent friends. In Belfast, Andrew Adair of Reliable Travel secured a significant Newmarket booking the day after the roadshow event using the knowledge he picked up.
Mr Adair commented: “A big thanks to Newmarket Holidays for their presentation yesterday in Belfast. On the back of the pointers given, I’ve just confirmed a lovely booking this afternoon – a safari booking taking in South Africa’s Kruger National Park for 2027! I’m so pleased!”
Lauren from TUI Bangor added: “It was lovely to meet Debbie from Ambassador at the Belfast roadshow. She shared several deals with us and I used one to secure a booking for two lovely ladies who are now booked to travel with Ambassador on 22 May 2026. Thanks so much Debbie!”

And the night didn’t stop with just learning, several fantastic prizes were up for grabs from suppliers. Iain Reaper from Ratehawk presented Brooke Beck of Oasis Travel, Ballyhackamore, with a £200 voucher (image one); and Avril Fulton from Orr’s Travel won the charity prize raffle scooping a shopping voucher from Leanne Verges at Holiday Extras (image two). TIPTO attendees fund-raised over £200 on the night.
And, it wouldn’t be a TIPTO event without several TIPTO goodie bags being won by agents.
