Amadeus Ireland today announced three new customer wins and six renewed agreements.
The three new customers are RCSI Travel, Roscrea Travel and Navan Travel. John May, Manager, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI Travel), said: “Our corporate travellers rely on our ability to remove the stress out of business travel. That’s why we selected Amadeus to provide us with unbeatable content and a common IT platform that is shared by travel professionals and 140 airlines. With the MEA region being very important to our business, we also benefit from Amadeus’s 10-year deal with the Arab Air Carriers Organisation (AACO). It is exactly the kind of expanded content that helps us differentiate our offer and helps us feel better connected to the global travel industry.”
Trudy O’Leary, Director of Roscrea Travel, said: “As seasoned travel agents, we know the importance of excellent customer service. That is a key reason why we chose to move our business to Amadeus. We like the way the technology company has invested in local customer support over many years, building up a solid reputation for first class service. We also like the fact that Amadeus is a company with ‘many strings to its bow’, including a track record of investing in new and exciting solutions that enable our consultants to serve our own customers using the best tools in the business.”
Volker Lorenz, General Manager, Amadeus Ireland, added: “We are delighted with the start we have made to 2013 with the signing of RCSI Travel, Roscrea Travel and the renewal of our long-standing partnership with Navan Travel plus another six Irish travel companies.
“We never take our customers for granted, so each success spurs us on to achieve even bigger and better things for our home-grown community of travel professionals. We have a number of new solutions in the pipeline that will enable our customers to shop for the best deals in travel easier than ever before, as well as take advantage of new routes to market such as mobile and Social Media applications. I think 2013 is shaping up to be an excellent year for Amadeus and our customers.”
