On a cold and blustery morning, Thomson Cruises’ ship Thomson Spirit – the smallest vessel in the fleet – visited Dublin and invited members of the trade specialising in cruise for a visit to the ship.
The ship can accommodate 1350 passengers with a crew of almost 500. Guests are well looked after in a warm and friendly manner. Entertainment on board is an important aspect with cabaret, jazz and all forms of relaxation to the fore.
A mature clientele looking for something different such as the Baltics or even an Arctic cruise are well provided for on cruises from 7 to 11 days. Mediterranean cruises are also on the itinerary.
Cruise Director Richard Grey led the tour of the ship, which has undergone an extensive refurbishment recently. The friendly atmosphere encourages repeat business, with many clients returning to the Thomson Spirit time after time.
The 40 members of the trade enjoyed lunch on board and had an informative, interesting and enjoyable experience on the ship.
