The Thomas Cook Ireland team has just returned from a fantastic flying visit in Southampton for the WOW Dance Final with Royal Caribbean International. The team consisted of Niki Stanford, Kellie McGrath, Todd Pocius, Sinead Barron and Sharon Knowles.
They were up against Thomas Cook Teeside and Darryl from Thomson, Inverness, in the dance final. They flew into London Heathrow and headed to Southampton on Friday night, just in time for some warm up dancing in the nightclubs of Southampton, where they met up with the Teeside team.
The following day it was an early start into hair and make-u to prepare for the Dance Final onboard Independence of the Seas.
“We did not know what to expect from the day but it was fantastic fun and a great experience overall filled with lots of laughter,” reports the team. “The bonus for us was meeting Louis Spence who was so nice and an absolute star – we think he has now gained some new fans in Ireland!
“We didn’t win a place on the fam trip to Miami but we didn’t leave empty handed either, with gifts including some €100 shopping vouchers.
“Darryl from Thomson was fantastic and the deserving winner of the WOW Dance Final. After the dance competition was over the teams had lots of pictures taken with Louis Spence around the ship where lots of guests were no doubt left wondering were these his new dance troupe! The dance teams were also treated to lunch and a ship visit before heading back to Dublin.
“Thomas Cook Ireland would like to thank Royal Caribbean for an unforgettable weekend!”
