The Irish Travel Trade Show Gets Off to a Flying Start in Cork

Yesterday, suppliers, tour operators, tourist boards and travel agents descended on the People’s Republic for the first stop on the ITAA’s Irish Travel Trade Show, which took place at the historic Imperial Hotel in the city centre.

ITTN’s Carrie Day was in attendance to cover this wonderful event, which welcomed agents from the south-east and south-west for a fun filled night of networking, catching up, not to mention some amazing prizes up for grabs!

Cork Airport were sponsors of the check-in area, where agents were given sustainable, plastic-free lanyards, and Shannon Airport kindly sponsored the delicious buffet dinner for all attendees after the networking.

After the networkng session, ITAA CEO Clare Dunne and ITAA President Angela Walsh welcomed agents to the event and thanked them for their support of the tradeshow, emphasising the importance of staying connected with suppliers and tour operators, and staying up to date on all the latest news and updates.

The incredible prizes on the night included return Aer Lingus flights to Boston, Chicago and New York, as well as stays at the VIK Hotels and Mangias Resorts & Clubs.

Congratulations to all prizes winners:

  • Lauren O’Connell – TUI
  • Nicholas O’Sullivan – Bantry Travel
  • Sheila Tracey – Ace Travel
