The Cruise Globe on Track to Become Number 1 Cruise App in the World

Just 10 months since it launched, The Cruise Globe – the world’s first free-to-use digital platform that allows global travellers to accurately map out their entire cruise history – is well on its way to becoming the number 1 cruise app in the world with over 100,000 users and more than half a million cruises logged.

The Cruise Globe aims to reach 500,000 users by the end of 2026.

Users of The Cruise Globe are spread across more than 110 countries, with the majority coming from the US, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Most are now logging their entire cruise history, with 517 users having each logged more than 50 cruises in total.

Matthew Jones, co-founder of The Cruise Globe, said: “To have reached the milestone of 100,000 users in just 10 months is fantastic news and shows just how much demand there is for a free-to-use platform that allows cruisers to log, explore and share the exact routes of every single cruise journey and share this information with family and friends. Based on feedback and the enthusiasm of the cruise community, we are confident that we can achieve 500,000 users by the end of 2026, with the ultimate aim of becoming the world’s #1 cruise app.”

Recent additions to The Cruise Globe include the ability to add upcoming cruises with a countdown to the departure, plan excursions and view a predicted route based on all past tracking data. Next year, there are plans to make The Cruise Globe a social app allowing users to not only see their own cruise history but also see the cruise history of their friends. Eventually, The Cruise Globe aims become the go-to app for all cruisers offering everything from finding, booking and planning a cruise through to live tracking, reviewing and sharing memories.
