The Conscious Travel Foundation has welcomed a cohort of new members for 2026, alongside the launch of a strategic partnership with Equator, a platform providing tour operators and travel advisors with data-driven insights to strengthen trips and itineraries.
The new Foundation members span the globe and range from boutique lodges and travel designers to hospitality brands and consultancies – all committed to advancing conscious travel.
New members include:
- Mirante Do Gavião – An award-winning Amazonian lodge in Brazil blending contemporary design with rainforest conservation, cultural connection and low-impact hospitality.
- Domaine Madrona – A regenerative vineyard estate and hospitality destination championing slow travel, stewardship and community.
- Journey (Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil) – A purpose-driven DMC creating high-touch, tailor-made journeys rooted in insider access, cultural depth and sustainability.
- Fable – A values-led DMC curating thoughtful journeys through the UK and Ireland that connect guests meaningfully to place through responsible operations and strong design.
- Wander Africa – An impact-driven travel company designing conservation-forward safaris and cultural journeys that directly benefit wildlife and local communities, in Africa and beyond.
- TGG – TGG (formerly The Go Generation) is a minority-owned boutique luxury travel company that curates bespoke, culturally rich journeys for discerning travellers.
Merit Membership: Recognising Exceptional Impact
From time to time, the Foundation offers Merit Membership – a special recognition reserved for projects and non-profits whose work deeply inspires the community and enriches it with experience, expertise and purpose.
The Foundation recently welcomed Asylum Speakers as a Merit Member, recognising its powerful work amplifying refugee voices and fostering greater understanding through storytelling.
Maudie Tomlinson and Olivia Cryer, Co-Founders of The Conscious Travel Foundation, said: “Our growing community allows us to be able to provide complimentary Merit Memberships to inspiring non-profits, creating a two-way exchange of knowledge, connections and opportunities that enriches the whole Foundation.”
New Partnership with Equator
The Foundation’s new partnership with Equator, led by Foundation mentor Edmund Morris, delivers a suite of benefits designed to equip the Foundation’s 130+ global members with deeper insight into data, trends, technology, measurement, storytelling and AI.
The programme of activity includes:
- Online workshops and an in-person event with Edmund Morris, offering a practical deep dive into data, trends and tools shaped by member priorities.
- Quarterly “Ask Me Anything” office hours and one-to-one sessions to address any specific challenges.
- A monthly data and insights newsletter via Equator’s Substack platform, Outlier.
Edmund Morris, Founder of Equator, said: “Equator provides the companies doing the most good with the resources they need to outcompete those doing the most harm. Our partnership with The Conscious Travel Foundation allows us to reach the companies most dedicated to making a positive impact, and gives us the opportunity to learn and deliver the insights that they need most.”
Maudie and Olivia added: “Our partnership with Equator marks an important next step. Our members want clarity, confidence and practical tools to make better decisions and communicate their impact more effectively. By bringing data and insight into the heart of our community, we’re helping ensure the businesses doing the most good are also the ones best equipped to thrive.”
