Teldar Travel – the B2B hotel booking platform – has launched a new AI (artificial intelligence) feature which speeds up the creation of personalised trips while strengthening the advisory role of travel advisors.

Named Aidy, this innovation available now on teldartravel.com marks a key milestone in the platform’s evolution and opens the door to new uses around personalisation, advice, and value creation for travel advisors
Aidy has been designed as a co-pilot; a new virtual colleague that supports travel advisors in creating trips, while leaving them full control over final decisions.

The travel advisor remains in control:
● Aidy explores, structures, suggests, and accelerates;
● the travel advisor analyzes, adjusts, refines, and advises.
The travel advisor enters the key elements of the project, such as the desired destination, length of stay, number of travelers, preferred accommodation type, as well as the client’s expectations in terms of experiences and travel styles, relaxing, cultural, nature-based, and more.
Aidy quickly generates tailored itinerary proposals combining accommodations and activities, taking into account the preferences and constraints expressed by clients.
Aidy addresses a key day-to-day challenge for travel advisors: reducing the time spent on the design phase, so they can focus on client relationships and finalising projects.
Fully integrated into the Teldar Travel environment, the tool becomes a true accelerator for building tailor-made trips, especially for complex or high value-added requests.
With the launch of Aidy, Teldar Travel reaches a new milestone in the development of technology solutions for travel advisors. This feature is part of a long-term vision: delivering innovative tools that combine performance, efficiency, and industry expertise, while keeping people at the heart of the client relationship.
Matthieu Chevrier, Chief Digital Officer, Teldar Travel by Gekko Group, said: “Integrating Artificial Intelligence at Teldar Travel is done step by step, with a strong focus on listening and pragmatism. Our goal is not to add AI for the sake of AI, but to focus on features that truly address travel advisors’ needs.

“With Aidy, we chose to start with simple, concrete use cases designed to save time and make trip creation easier, while leaving full control in the hands of agents.
“This is a first building block, which we will continue to develop based on feedback from the field.”
