Sculpted by wind, water and time, Utah is home to some of the USA’s most astonishing landscapes. From the Mighty 5® National Parks of Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef and Zion to the Wasatch Mountains’ Greatest Snow on Earth®, and all points in between, Utah is jam-packed with jaw-dropping scenery and world class outdoor adventure.

Flanked by mountain peaks to the east and the Great Salt Lake to the west, Salt Lake City boasts world-class arts, dining, culture and entertainment alongside the history of early pioneers and settlers. In the mountains, explore shimmering lakes, spectacular state parks, numerous national forests and historic mountain towns.

Hit the open road to the red rocks, national parks and national monuments of the south. In Arches National Park, view sunrise through Delicate Arch, then after an off-road adventure amidst towering mesas, watch it set across Canyonlands National Park. Gaze at ancient petroglyphs in Capitol Reef National Park before an evening of stargazing and s’mores. Take a horse ride among Bryce Canyon National Park’s hoodoos, followed by a hike through the steep walls of a slot canyon in Zion National Park.

Since the early 1930s, Utah has played a starring role in Hollywood hits including Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Thelma & Louise and Forrest Gump. No trip is complete without a visit to iconic Monument Valley Tribal Park, the backdrop to many western movies. Take a guided tour for a close-up view of the world-famous Mittens and learn about Navajo ancestry and traditions.

As the sun sets, the stars come out to play in Utah. With the highest concentration of International Dark Sky Association accredited places in the world, including all five national parks, view the moon, constellations, planets and even the Milky Way! Many areas offer their own night sky programmes with telescopes and astronomers on hand.

Fly into the state capital of Salt Lake City, or for access to southern Utah, Las Vegas. Both have excellent connections across the USA. Then pick up a hire car or motorhome and hit the road!
