The Spanish capital of Madrid is a great option for anyone thinking of booking their summer holiday from Cork Airport. This is the first service from service Iberia’s Group low-cost carrier, Iberia Express, from Cork Airport.
Anita Gackowska, Head of Aviation Marketing at Cork Airport, said: “Madrid is just one of 11 Spanish sun spots we have on offer this summer. It is a beautiful city right in the heart of Spain, well known for its culture, shopping, sport events, artistic offerings and lively nightlife. It is also very easy to reach other popular places in Spain from Madrid. Anyone thinking of a holiday packed with plenty to do should definitely talk to their travel agent about Madrid.”
The new service takes off from 18th June and will operate twice weekly, every Saturday and Wednesday, until September, ensuring sun seekers from the South will have even more choice this summer.
Visitors to the Spanish capital will be able to fly via Madrid to many of Iberia Group’s destinations in Spain, as well as Marrakech in Morocco and Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Montevideo, Sao Paulo or Santiago de Chile in Latin America.
