Summer France Launches Dedicated Golf Website for Premier Golfing Destinations

Summer France has launched a dedicated golf website, Summer France Golf, to highlight its selection of golf-friendly destinations. Whether an avid golfer or planning a trip for family and friends, these regions offer something for everyone. While golf enthusiasts enjoy world-class courses, non-golfers can take advantage of a diverse range of activities, from scenic hikes to cultural excursions and water sports.

Summer France has offered golf holidays as part of its portfolio for many years, and now, the new website provides a dedicated platform for holidaymakers to explore top golfing locations while those who don’t golf can discover a range of activities beyond the fairways.

From the scenic Atlantic coast in Moliets to the sun-drenched landscapes of Provence and the diverse terrain of the Vendée, Summer France presents golfing getaways that cater to both avid golfers and their families or partners. The new website makes it easier than ever for holidaymakers to plan their ideal trip, combining world-class golf courses with cultural, culinary, and outdoor experiences.

Moliets – Atlantic Coast Escape

Moliets is home to Villas la Clairière aux Chevreuils, nestled in protected woodland just 800m from pristine sandy beaches and the renowned Golf de Moliets. Guests can enjoy local gastronomy, a sand vineyard and activities such as surfing and cycling and can pre-book surf lessons or rentals through Summer France’s partnership with Ecole du Surf du Golf. Lessons take place on the quieter beach near the villas.

One of Europe’s top 25 courses, Golf de Moliets boasts a challenging 27-hole layout, combining a championship 18-hole course with a 9-hole course. The fairways wind through pine forests and coastal dunes, offering golfers stunning views and diverse playing conditions. Among the course’s highlights are the two signature par-3 holes, which play over the beach dunes. Guests can book an Unlimited Golf Pass through Summer France Golf, allowing unlimited tee times during a seven-night stay. There are also two other exceptional golf courses located close by, Golf d’Hossegor – A prestigious 18-hole course dating back to 1927, set in a scenic pine forest and Golf de Seignosse – A top 15 ranked French course designed by Robert von Hagge, featuring undulating terrain and a challenging layout

Alternatively, head to Les Palmiers du Golf, located near the 17th hole of the Golf du Moliets course, the residence could not be better placed for a round, or two, of the sport. And, with Seignosse and Hossegor nearby (all within 20 miles of each other) it’s easy to travel between the three courses depending on the mood. Les Palmiers du Golf is also only 700 metres from the beach, and the centre of Moliets is within walking distance. Each tasteful apartment has well-planned spaces and large windows overlooking the pool or golf course, giving the rooms a bright and airy feel. Prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or explore the many restaurants, cafés and bistros along the coast or in town.

Vendée – Coastal & Inland Golfing Adventures

The region of Vendée is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with scenic cycling routes, historic landmarks, and the famous Puy du Fou theme park. The local culinary scene is also a highlight, featuring fresh Atlantic seafood and excellent regional wines, Vendée is a golfer’s paradise with a mix of coastal and inland courses benefiting from over 100 days of sunshine per year and home to Les Villas de Fontenelles & Les Maisons de Fontenelles.  Summer France’s family friendly accommodation is located on the edge of the Blue Green golf course, Golf du Pays de Saint Gilles, which offers a challenging layout within pine and oak forests. Other courses in the area include Golf de Saint-Jean-de-Monts which provides breathtaking ocean views.

Provence – Golf Amidst Vineyards & Lavender Fields

Provence combines championship golf courses with breathtaking scenery and cultural experiences. Golf de Saumane, set within the Provence Country Club, where guests will stay, offers an 18-hole course that weaves through olive trees, pines, and lavender fields.

Other notable courses include: Golf International Pont Royal, the prestigious 18-hole course designed by Severiano Ballesteros. Beyond golf, Provence offers world-renowned vineyards, visits to the beautiful hillside villages of Gordes and Roussillon, hiking trails through the Luberon, and cultural gems such as Avignon and Aix-en-Provence. Visitors can also explore the famous lavender fields in summer or unwind in one of the region’s renowned spas.
